TMJ (Temporomandibular) Dysfunction

The temporo-mandibular (TMJ) joint is a small joint located in the front of the ear where the skull and the lower jaw (mandible) meet. This joint allows your jaw to move. Various problems are caused by TMJ disorders. TMJ sufferers complain often of either headaches, earaches and very often the inability to open their mouth. Some patients experience clicking sounds upon opening and closing their mouths. As a specialist in the areas of the mouth, teeth and jaws, Dr. Rosenlicht can correct the problem with surgical and non-surgical
procedures.
